  • This page will be dedicated to my hobby. I write a column for the Radio Amateurs of Canada magazine, The Canadian Amateur. The column, Fresh On The Air, is dedicated to helping the new Amateur Radio Operator get the most out of the hobby. Heck, it even helps those who aren't Hams, but want to get into the hobby. You'll find lots of information coming here over the next little while, including possible product reviews.

  • WHAT IS AMATEUR RADIO? under construction at present

Amateur Radio is a hobby in which persons who are licenced to operate on Amateur Radio frequencies use a multitude of different types of two-way radios and peripherals to communicate and experiment. You may be more familiar with the term, "Ham Radio."
