Fees For Our Copywriting/Editing/Publishing Services
Skyfoot Technical's standard fee for all projects is $40.00 per hour or any half-hour part thereof plus related expenses except those projects listed below. Work may be done via email, fax, courier, regular mail, or meeting with client. Projects billed 30 days net for work completed up to that point, with advances or other fees paid up front or on schedule as per mutually agreed-to in contract. No work will be commenced without a mutually agreed-to contract signed by both parties. Running contracts available for clients with regular needs (newsletters, columns, etc.) Fees based on number of pages, per project, or other matter desired by client, may be negotiated.
Ghostwriting commercial or trade book by busniness, governmental, or professional (medical, legal, etc.) person, or celebrity, with "as told to" or "with" credit: Full advance plus 50% of royalties and related expenses.
Ghostwriting commercial or trade book without any credit: $40.00 per hour plus related expenses plus advance.
Projects for non-profit clients: $25.00 per hour plus half of related expenses.
Magazine and newspaper articles and columns: 50% of client's payment from publisher.
No fees are payable for interviews given by Skyfoot Technical or its staff, for writers, editors, or journalists doing research on topics we deal with, such as Canada's Family Radio Service, or our copywriting/editing/electronic publishing services. However, full credit must be given to Skyfoot Technical and the staff member interviewed, and our phone number, email address, and website address must be listed for those readers, viewers, or listeners who wish more information.
No fees are payable nor is permission required for very short quotes of fifty (50) words or less from any copyright material of Skyfoot Technical or Phillip Boucher, or copyright material by others but controlled by us on their behalf. Quotes of fifty-one (51) words or more or reprints of any copyright material of Skyfoot Technical or Phillip Boucher, or copyright material by others but controlled by us on their behalf, require written permission from us and a fee may be payable to use such material.
